it appears as though i’ve been neglecting my tumblr. but for no longer.
i’m a little embarrassed to admit that the deciding factor of going to south america two years ago was the movie the motorcycle diaries. it was romantic and idealistic, and i wanted my life to be like it. but it’s not entirely the reason i’m going back.
i’m in the prime of my life and i don’t think i’ve been taking advantage of it. i’ve been in the dirty south for four months and have been absolutely useless. the idea of working with/for others in peru excites me and viola, i feel alive again!
