it’s due time for a proper update (i suppose).
as you can tell from the picture above, i am now in france.
wishful thinking aside, i’m still in north carolina. it recently dawned on me that i am nearing quarter life and have yet to make a concrete decision about the dark and ominous future. travel season is fast approaching and if all goes as planned, i will be back in south america this summer working with orphans (standard) and abandoned pregnant teenagers (new!). i feel as though it’s been a while since i’ve made any kind of substantial impact and by doing so, hopefully, i gain some sort of direction. everyone wants to be found and lately, i’ve been feeling more lost than ever.
i am, however, unequivocally attached to the idea of a career that allows me to help others and not be confined to the daily grind. any ideas?
p.s. manila, i plan on rekindling the love/hate relationship. soon.
